 NHS Open Athens

You need an NHS Open Athens account to access most of our online resources. Registering is quick and easy. Please follow the instructions below. 

How to register:

If you are a new user, you will need to:

1. Go to NHS OpenAthens 

2. Enter your details (if possible, use your NHS email address. Students on placement should use a personal email address, not a university email address)

3. Click 'Register'

4. Click the activation link in your email

Already have an OpenAthens account?

If you have joined Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from a different trust, you will need to:

1. Go to NHS OpenAthens

2. Login to your OpenAthens account

3. Select 'Change organisation'

4. Update the form

5. Click 'Change' to save your changes
