Gloucestershire Hospitals Library & Knowledge Services: Books & ebooks

We have a diverse collection of clinical and non-clinical books and ebooks, available in both of our libraries and online. 

We also have:

- a reading for leisure collection of fiction and non-fiction

- a Health and Wellbeing book collection

- an audiobook collection

- an EDI book collection

The easiest way to search for books and ebooks is to use the NHS Knowledge & Library Hub. 

If you see a book on there you would like to borrow that is not part of our collection, use the 'request this item' button on the Hub or you can fill out our online book request form. 

Key things to know:

• You can borrow up to 8 books at once and renew them 3 times as long as no one else has requested them

• You can return books at either GRH Library or CGH Library - it doesn't matter if the book doesn't belong to that library

• We can send GRH Library books to CGH Library and vice versa if it's more convenient for you to collect them from there

• To renew your books, phone us on ext. 6495, email us or pop in and see us.
